A Cool Cat’s Diet For A Better Future

I don’t like cats. They make me sneeze. But this cat took me by the hand and led me to optimism and hope. No kidding. Here’s what happened.

Well, it was not The Cat In The Hat himself. But his author, Dr Seuss. I was feeling very flat. A series of setbacks. Nothing major. Just turbulence eroding confidence and hope. I took time out. Went into a bookshop. There I picked up a Dr Seuss book of quotes to help young adults handle the speed bumps of life. Two very simple quotes got me (a somewhat older adult) back on track. How To Win By Not Being The Best

Is this madness? “If you want to succeed, do NOT try to be the best at what you do.” No. It’s absolute magic. Here’s why.

Okay. It sure sounded like madness when I heard it. Then, in the next sentence, came the gem that can change careers and businesses- for the better.

I could not pick it up. 25 kilos! No way!

But here’s the magic. I can lose 5 kilos, right. And within say 12 weeks. And that’s the key. To achieve goals, in life, business and careers, please- adopt with energy this powerful technique:

The Key To Becoming A Great Leader

Fear, doubt, uncertainty, self-criticism. That’s how it feels. Leadership can suck. That’s why I am putting my hand up for this. And you can too.
